WordPress website redesign pricing
A redesign is not priced as a flat package: the price depends on the number of pages, whether there is a shop, any bespoke features and how much of the existing site is carried over. We review it free of charge, then we quote.

What a redesign package includes
The price shown is not a headline figure to which the domain, hosting and certificate are added later. Everything is in it for the first year.
The design, built mobile first
No off-the-shelf template filled in afterwards. The mock-up starts from your real content and from what your visitors come looking for, and it is drawn for the screen they arrive on: more than half of them are on a phone.
The domain name, the hosting and the mailboxes
Domain name, hosting, SSL certificate and unlimited mailboxes are included for the first year, in both the brochure and the shop package. Licences for the performance and security tools are included. You have no subscriptions to take out yourself.
Carrying over what exists
Text, pages, articles, products and images are carried over. We do not start from a blank page, and we do not ask you to rewrite everything to justify the quote.
The redirect plan
Every old address is redirected to the new one, one by one, and the plan is drawn up before launch. That is what prevents the drop in traffic too often put down to bad luck. The method is set out on the WordPress website redesign page.
What makes the price vary
One ten-page site can cost twice as much as another. Four factors explain almost all of the gap.
The number of pages and products
The brochure package covers up to ten pages. Beyond that, it is not the design that costs, it is carrying over and laying out each piece of content. On the shop side, the catalogue has no product limit, but importing from a file or an old system is a separate job.
The content to be produced
If your copy exists and is up to date, the redesign moves quickly. If it has to be rewritten, translated or illustrated with new photos, that is quoted separately and you remain free to give it to someone else.
Non-standard features
A client area, a connection to your management software, a booking module or a business rule no plugin covers all fall outside the package. They are scoped and then quoted, as explained on the custom WordPress development page.
The state of the current site
A clean site is quick to take over. A site with no access, no backup, or whose domain sits with an unreachable provider requires preliminary work that we tell you about before starting.
How payment works
The quote is drawn up after a free review, and the price does not move along the way unless you add to the scope yourself.
The quote is free
We look at your current site, listen to what you want it to do, and tell you whether a redesign is justified. Sometimes the answer is no, and a targeted repair is enough.
A 50% deposit at the start
A deposit of 50% of the total is requested when the project starts, to commit the work. The balance is paid on delivery, once the site is finished and approved.
You approve at every step
The redesign runs in six steps, in a fixed order, and you approve each one before we move to the next. Nobody discovers the finished site on launch day.
What you pay for after the first year
Renewing the domain and the hosting from the second year onwards. Expect a modest annual cost, or fold them into the All inclusive maintenance plan, which takes the hosting on.
What belongs to you on delivery
A redesign should not make you dependent on whoever built it. Everything that makes up your site is yours.
The domain, the credentials and the content
The domain name is registered in your name, not ours. Access to the hosting and the admin is handed over to you. You can give the site to another provider whenever you decide to.
A site you can edit
The site is delivered with a handover session: changing a line of text, adding a page or publishing an article does not mean calling us. What is technical stays technical, but the day-to-day is yours.
No hidden subscriptions
No licence that expires and renders a feature unusable, no third-party service billed without your knowing. What is included for the first year is stated upfront, and so is what will need renewing afterwards.
