The same work in all three plans
What changes from one plan to the next is the type of site and the hosting. Never the level of service. A brochure site and a shop receive the same attention, with the same person on the other end.
Updates, tested before they are applied
Sensitive updates are first run on an invisible copy of your site. Whatever breaks, breaks on the copy. Once the real update is done, someone opens your site, tests the form, checks the mobile display. That is the difference between maintenance and an automatic script that sends a green report whatever happens.
Backups, stored elsewhere
A backup that lives on the same server as the site is worthless on the day that server fails or is compromised. Yours are stored off-site, tested, and kept long enough to cover an infection discovered late.
Daily monitoring
Uptime, intrusions, server errors, certificate expiry. The aim is not to send you alerts you will not know how to read, it is that we see the problem before you do and have dealt with it by the time you hear about it.
What really separates the three plans
Two criteria are enough to tell which one applies to you: what your site does, and who hosts it today.
Essential, for a site that presents
A brochure site, blog or institutional site. It has few plugins, no transactions, and what matters is that it is online, up to date and fast. It stays on your current hosting, whatever that is.
Shop, for a site that takes money
A shop adds critical plugins the brochure plan does not have to track: payment gateway, carriers, VAT rules, customer accounts. The post-intervention check includes a full test order, through to receiving the confirmation email. All inclusive, for a single point of contact
The plan includes hosting, VPS or shared according to your needs, and the migration of your site is handled for you. It applies equally to a brochure site or a shop. You stop having to arbitrate between the host blaming the site and the agency blaming the host.
What is included at no extra cost
A maintenance plan that bills every incident on top is not maintenance, it is a subscription to a helpline. Ours cover the unexpected.
Everyday troubleshooting
If the site breaks despite the precautions, putting it right is covered. You do not receive a quote for a problem that happened on our watch.
Clean-up if you are hacked
A maintained site is rarely hacked, but no protection is absolute. If it happens, the clean-up is included and you do not pay the flat fee for hacked site clean-up. We carry the risk because we are there to reduce it.
The monthly report
What was updated, what was blocked, what was fixed, and the state of your backups. Readable in two minutes, with no tool screenshots and no invented percentages.
Commitment, cancellation and what belongs to you
Prices are monthly and exclude tax. No minimum term, no notice period, no exit penalty.
If you stop
You get back full access, your backups and the documentation of everything done on your site. Nothing is held back, no licence stops working, and your site carries on running without us.
What is not included
Content creation, visual redesigns and bespoke development are quoted separately. An update that breaks the site is our problem; adding ten pages or a new feature is not.
Changing plan
Moving from one plan to another takes effect the following month, at no charge. A shop launched mid-year or hosting we take over from you simply means an adjustment to the billing.
